STATE REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE
North Carolina:
As of May 5, 2011, Maiden School of Massage and Bodywork Therapy became a Board Approved School. During 1999, all massage therapy schools and massage and bodywork therapists became governed by the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy. As of December 31, 2000, graduates of Board approved schools take the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. After passing the exam, they are eligible to apply to the Board for licensure as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist.
Pursuant to NC G.S. 90-629.1, the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy may deny a license to practice massage and bodywork therapy if an applicant has a criminal record or there is other evidence that indicates the applicant lacks good moral character.
You must hold a North Carolina Massage and Bodywork Therapy license to practice massage and bodywork therapy in North Carolina.

- Part -Time – Night Program in 14 months it rotates between Mon/Tues Night or Wed/Thurs nights
